The City Secretary serves as the Chief Election Official for the City of Cross Timber and is responsible for conducting all city elections as prescribed by the Election Code of the State of Texas.

NEXT GENERAL ELECTION – May 1, 2027 – for Mayor and two Aldermen at large positions.
Location for voting will be 3225 Cross Timber Road, the town property.
MAY 2, 2026 election will be cancelled at the March 12 meeting. Kimberli Broome submitted an application and will become an elected Alderman at the May Board of Alderman meeting. The open appointments will be appointed by the board. Both Bob Sumien & Kellee Ball are interested in being appointed to the two open positions. Anyone who is interested in being considered for the two open Alderman appointments should attend the March 12, 2026 Board of Aldermen Meeting as the board anticipates appointing the positions at that meeting.
